Qi Gong in Basel:
Traditional Chinese Medicine to support your energy
At the Qi Gong class in Basel, you'll learn simple exercises from Traditional Chinese Medicine to help you regulate your body, breathing, and energy on your own.
Would you like to learn how to work with your energy yourself?
If you feel that your body is tired, your head is full, or your nervous system is constantly "on," then qigong can be a gentle way to reconnect. With yourself, with your breath, with your natural rhythm.
At my practice in Basel, I will guide you back to balance with mindful movement and presence. Gentle, slow, and deeply effective—so that you can find your center again.
What is qigong?
Qi Gong is a millennia-old method of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)that combines movement, breathing, and mindfulness to regulate the Qi—the life energy—in the body.
Mindful, flowing movements stimulate the flow of energy in the meridians. The mind calms down, breathing deepens, and the body returns to a state of expansiveness, clarity, and inner stability.
My approach to qigong – individually or in a group
I use qigong in my practice because I practice it regularly myself and know from experience how powerful this method can be.
I use Qi Gong both in individual treatments and in groups—depending on what you need at the moment.
Individually, as part of a treatment:
As the first step in my 4-step program—to ground yourself in your body, regulate your nervous system, and deepen the subsequent therapeutic work (e.g., with acupressure or tuina).
In a group, as a regular course:
For anyone who wants to consciously take time for themselves—to reduce stress, nurture their energy, and strengthen their connection to their own body.
How does qigong work?
Qi Gong has a regulating effect on the body, mind, and nervous system. The method helps you to slow down your system, release tension, and strengthen your inner connection.
Unlike athletic activities, this is not about performance or fitness—it's about connecting with your body and feeling whole again.
Typical effects:
Deeper breathing & improved body awareness
gentle activation of energy flow
Emotional relief from stress and inner turmoil
Support for sleep problems and exhaustion
More inner stability, serenity, and self-connection
